A Post Most Necessary

So, that whole "I may never blog again" thing almost came true.

I found out that Rock Band 3 is going to make some Billy Joel songs available as downloadable content. Guess I'm spending another $150 on video games...

I was all set to finally watch Alien tonight. Netflix was sending me the disc, I had some mint chocolate chip ice cream all ready for me, and then I was failed by the Postal Service. No disc in the mail. No familiar red package. Incredibly disappointed. Now I have to figure out what to watch. And, honestly, the only two things I have any interest in watching right now are the last disc of Smallville season 8 and The Sopranos season 6.2. Of course, seeing as they're on my Netflix list, I don't have them. So, what to watch?

I've been wanting to rewatch Battlestar Galactica, but I really should tackle some of the stuff in my instant Netflix queue. Do I keep going with Doctor Who and Torchwood? Check out Jack and Bobby? Finally find out why Barbra is having issues with people raining on her parades? Or do I watch that DVD of Public Enemies that I bought on the strength of the actors (Bale! Cotilliard! That guy who plays pirates!) but never actually got around to watching?

The answer: Public Enemies. Let's see how it goes...

Oh, and I'm still going to eat that ice cream, Alien or no Alien.
